Oscar-winning stars Rachel Weisz and Brendan Fraser are returning to the “Mummy” franchise for its fourth instalment set to hit the monitors on Might 19, 2028.
A challenge of Common Photos, the movie can be directed by means of Radio Silence’s Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett.
Fraser and Weisz, will reprise their roles as adventurer Rick O’Connell and Egyptologist Evelyn O’Connell within the film.
The 2 actors first collaborated at the 1999 reboot of “The Mummy”, a few treasure hunter who by chance awakens a cursed Egyptian priest with supernatural powers.
The film and its 2001 sequel “The Mummy Returns” had been primary field place of work hits. Weisz didn’t seem within the 3rd a part of the film in 2008, titled, “The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor”.
Bettinelli-Olpin and Gillett are directing the film from a screenplay by means of David Coggeshall.
