The shooting of Shraddha Kapoor’s upcoming film Eetha has come to a temporary pause after the actress injured her foot while performing a traditional Lavani dance sequence. The incident occurred during an intense shoot that required fast footwork, elaborate choreography and the full traditional Lavani attire.
According to production sources, Shraddha was dressed in a Nauvari saree and heavy jewellery when she slipped and placed full weight on her left foot, resulting in an injury. The sudden mishap caused immediate concern on set, and the crew halted filming to ensure she received medical attention.
Reports suggest that the injury is painful but not severe. Shraddha later confirmed through a social media update that she had suffered a muscle tear and was advised to rest. Her positive message reassured fans as she humorously mentioned that she has been moving around like a “Terminator”, while promises of a full recovery brought comfort to her well-wishers.
The makers of Eetha have now rearranged the production schedule. High-intensity dance or action scenes will be resumed only after Shraddha is cleared by her doctors. In the meantime, the team is exploring the possibility of shooting indoor or non-physical scenes to avoid delays.
Fans have flooded social media with prayers and encouraging messages for Shraddha’s speedy recovery. Many praised her dedication to mastering a demanding Lavani performance, which plays a major role in the storyline of Eetha.
