Months after the cancellation of “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” sequel, actress Sarah Michelle Gellar is returning to the supernatural style.
Whilst the “scream queen” will all the time be synonymous together with her iconic run as Buffy Summers from 1997 to 2003, the hopes of her go back to the franchise have been dashed after the sequel of the Hulu collection was once impulsively cancelled in March 2026. The reboot was once introduced in February 2025.
Now, Gellar has formally signed directly to headline “Thud”, an upcoming supernatural romance directed by means of Mali Elfman of “Subsequent Go out’ status. In a wild twist at the style, Gellar is ready to painting the Grim Reaper, starring along Rudy Pankow, who will take at the function of the Satan.
