Renowned Odia playback and devotional singer Humane Sagar has passed away at the age of 34. He died at AIIMS Bhubaneswar after battling critical health conditions including multi-organ dysfunction, chronic liver failure and pneumonia.
Sagar rose to prominence after winning Voice of Odisha Season 2 in 2012 and became a defining voice in Odia cinema and devotional music. Over his career he lent his voice to numerous hit songs and albums, influencing a generation of listeners in Odisha and beyond.
Industry and cultural leaders have expressed deep sorrow at his untimely passing, noting his contributions to both film music and devotional songs as significant.
