Shikhar Dhawan was born on 5 December 1985, is a well-known former Indian international cricketer known for his aggressive batting style, particularly as an opening batsman in limited-overs cricket. He played for Team India in Tests, ODIs, and T20Is from 2004 until his retirement from cricket in 2024.
Dhawan was one of India’s most successful openers, scoring over 6,700 runs with 17 centuries and a strong batting average. He also made noteworthy contributions in T20 Internationals and represented India in key ICC tournaments and was also an important part of the Indian Premier League (IPL) for teams including Delhi Capitals and Punjab Kings.
